LB, CA Tea Party Pics 7/4/09

Richard Oliveri was kind enough to be our impromptu photographer who was kind enough to send me a disc full of some great pics. I thank God he was there, because I do not have a camera and he’s such a nice, happy man. I’d like to share them with you. The title of this Tea Party is, “America’s Freedom-Long Beach (CA) Tea Party”. I hope you enjoy them. Have a nice day.

(Left) These are two of my favorite posters!

(Right) This is a very nice lady and a very friendly dog. She even let me pet him. I love animals.

(Left) Great college student with a blow-away speech standing with an American Hero.

(Right) This is the man who read the Declaration of Independence before Diane spoke, and he talked about the Fair Tax after her speech.

(Left) This is what the shirt Jamie was wearing says.

(Right) Jamie is a wonderful young lady who read a letter for mother called, “I am the Nation”. Great job, Jamie!

(Left) I just had to include this picture of Jeane’s husband, Jamie father. He is one of America’s Heroes! A man of very few words but many smiles. God bless you, Sir.

(Right) Jamie’s Mom, Jeane, then spoke. She read “The Letter” which was an open letter sent by a Democrat turned Republican turned someone without a party (which is how many of us feel) wrote to each public official including Pres. Obama and the press. She hit many things right on the mark, and Jeane did a beautifully passionate job reading it. Great job, Jeane! Thank you.

(Left) Beautiful family.

(Right) The park.

(Left) This 20 year old college student was just a total crowd pleaser! If yuo come upon this site or anything else I write, please e-mail me. I'd really like to get your name and e-mail so you can speak at our 9-12 Tea Party.

(Right) This is Diane Lenning, she is running for Superintendant of Schools in 2010. She did well with her speech. The part that impressed me was when she asked everyone to honor those in our families who’ve served this magnicant country. She is related to George Washington!

(Left) Now for the signs. This is the sign my brother made so people would know where to find us. Great job, Bro!

(Right) So True!

(Left) This is a T-shirt of the stickers that were being passed around and what it says.

(Right) Another AMERICAN TEA party sign.

(Left) I love these posters!

(Right) The Spice and Spirit of America!

(Left) Oh my. I didn’t realize this is the back of me. That’s California’s bear telling our State to LISTEN to us. It is not just the US Congress and President we’re targeting for unemployment! BTW, what’s up with ‘compassionate’ Conservatism? When and where have you known of a gov’t being kind to anyone? Is it kind to take money that you’ve worked hard for to give it to someone who hasn’t worked (if they’re able) that didn’t? We have a word (and many laws!) for that. ROBBERY!

(Right) I almost forgot myself! I wouldn’t have been able to pull this off without the help of my brother. Thank you, Brother. I became politically active because I’m fed up with politicians. I don’t care which party their from, they do not listen. Well, now it’s your turn to shut up and listen to what we have to say. WE’RE FED UP with your taxes, pork, trips you take on our dimes, and the bs you expect us to swallow as fact. No, we don’t believe you anymore (if we ever did). So go home and think about that! Remember, there's an unemployment line waiting for you, too.

See? I’m fair. I think I disagree, but everyone should have a voice. (Except for violent and perverted people.)

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

'Tops' Tea Party!

This Independence Day we had another Tea Party, America's Freedom-Long Beach Tea Party, and it was the tops. I learned many thing from the April 15th Tea Party, and I tried to fix those mistakes. Well, on paper I did, but in really things just flowed smoothly even though I was disorganized. I forgot to plan for people not showing up on time.

The Tea Party was scheduled for Independence Day, 12-3pm at 130 Cherry Ave, Bixby Park, Long Beach, California 90802, and it lasted about 2 hours at its peak, 3 hours altogether. Here is the schedule of events as they really happened, not the one I had planned. Although it was pretty close.

It was marvelous to see 110 people come to our Tea Party in liberal Long Beach, California. Everyone was so thoughtful and helpful. Roxanna bought a helium pump for the balloons which worked perfectly. If you could have been there to see the expressions on the children's faces as we freely gave them balloons! No, they were not part of the Tea Party but being the Conservatives that we are, we love children. Of course we did ask their parents first if we could give them to their children. They were so happy.

Most of the people signed in this time, however many people came as the Tea Party was in progress. My brother counted 50, and 60 people signed in. They were energetic, patriotic, helpful in many ways, cheerful, and it was a very pleasant experience. They were also tired and fed-up with being overtaxed, paying for other people's bailouts, this enormous health care boondoggle which threatens our very good system and will make the fraud in Medicare and Medicaid look like chump-change. Yes, there was much to discuss.

We began with Barbee singing "God Bless America" and everyone joined in. It was beautiful. She has a delightful voice. Then we said the Pledge of Allegiance, and we even dared to use the words IN GOD. Oh my. Then the Declaration of Independence was read by a very nice gentleman (whose name I forgot to get). Then I read a few verses of the NIV version of the Bible with the theme being, "Healing Our Land": 2Co 4:8, 16, 17 and 2Ch 7:14. It was graciously accepted by all.

After that, we had quite a bit of time before our guest speaker was to arrive, so we kind of went off schedule. I'll try my best to recall the events as they occurred. There was a daughter, Jamie, who wanted to read something for her mother who was to speak after Jamie. What she read was awesome. It was "I Am The Nation" (I think that's the name of it). Excellent job, Jamie.

Then her mother, Jeanne, read "The Letter" written by a life-time Democrat turned Republican turned without a party. It is an open letter sent to our officials in all offices and the press. Glen Beck read it on the air (I do not get him on my radio), and Jeanne just had to read it. I don't blame her. It is quite remarkable letter, and you did an excellent job Jeanne.

At 1pm, we had our special guest speak. She is running for Superintendent of Schools and her name is Diane Lenning. She was remarkable. Her ancestry includes General and President of the United States George Washington. She is interested in changing the curriculum to include the true history of this great country. There were many things said, but I was impressed the most when so many answered her call to give homage to those who fought before and/or are still fighting so we could have this day. There were too many for me to keep track of while counting. I was so very proud of everyone there.

There was one young man who absolutely amazed me. He brought hope to everyone there. How did he do that? He is young, in college, well spoken, an American who happens to be black, yet people have called him a racist. Huh? Yes. This is because he believes the rule of law should apply to everyone equally or no one equally. So do I. He also believes in a free market system and wonders where are the supposed free market politicians? Twenty years old and smarter than some of the people I know. He just blew me away. So much, in fact, that I forgot to get his name of all things. I surely hope he signed in. At least I can find him through email.

On the subject of Americans who happen to be black being called racist. It occurs most of the time when it comes to illegal aliens. How is it fair that if you're here in our country illegally that the rule of law bends over backwards for you, yet does not give two hoots about her own citizens? Everyone at the Tea Party agreed. By the way, there were Democrats and Republicans there. This was truly a nonpartisan event.

Then the man who read the Declaration spoke about the Fair Tax. After him, many people spoke their minds. There were some very good ideas bantered about. It was a breath of fresh air to hear citizens and not politicians speak. They came up with simple ways to solve our economic, social, and spiritual problems.

Some of the policies promoted were as follows:

  • 1. July 17th: Flood the 89 offices of the elected officials to let them know we do not want their health care insurance boondoggle.
  • 2. Make our elected officials aware of the consequences of their cap-and-tax...er...trade will have on every community. This was brought home by our guest, Ken, from Detroit, who has had to move here while his wife stays in Detroit for 9 years because Chrysler closed. He made us aware that only Germans were allowed to work in the jobs that were lost to union workers, and they were not permitted to join a union. This is information we are not hearing from the press. Gee, I don't wonder why.
  • 3. There was one person there, I'm sorry I did not get his name, who brought up the idea of the Fair Tax. I do not agree with this, but I allowed him to speak. After all, what if he's right? I certainly wouldn't disagree with shutting down the IRS!
  • 4. Our very handsome College student wants more freedom of thought in the schools. He also wants fairness. It is not okay that Liberals can rewrite history and do whatever they want, but Conservatives are held back from telling the truth and doing as they please. He just wants EQUAL freedom.
  • 5. This one is closest to my heart. This is the one which we all agreed. This day was available due to those who are in harms way to this day. We honored the Revolutionary War with their daughters and sons in attendance, we honored the War of 1812 with one of their descendants, we honored WWI with their descendants, we also honored WWII, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq with their descendants and loved ones.
We were actually not just protesting these policies, we were there to bring alternative policies which seem to be lacking in Congress and our state of California. Some were very good, some I disagree with, but I allowed them to be discussed. Who am I to censor free speech? (I did censor any cussing and way off common sense such as name calling which gets us nowhere. Fortunately, I did not have to use it.)

If you are interested in helping us stop the movement in California by going to these 89 officials offices in person, please contact me. I am going to need much help, and this is to happen on July 17. So I do not have that much time to get ready! Especially since my next Tea Party is going to be September 12, 2009. All are welcome.

PS. IF YOU WERE THERE AND SPOKE, please e-mail me and let me know your name, what you spoke about and when you spoke. Please, for the people who's names I forgot, let me know who you are. Also, please forgive me for this. I am truly sorry I forgot your name. How embarrassing. Mr. Video man, please let me know your name also. Sounds like I was really in charge of everything doesn't it? NOT! D'oh!

Update: Please be advised there is more to come. A kind man, Frank Oliveri, who took pictures is sending them to me through snail-mail as soon as they are ready. Thank you.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you until you can walk along side Him again.

Citizen Journalists Wanted For Tea Parties

Hi everyone. Would you like a great opportunity to show off your writing skills? This online newspaper published my work back in April, so they'll publish just about anyone's. lol. Here are some details:

Hello fellow Patriot,

It’s Independence Day and The Voice magazine is seeking citizen journalists to help us report on the TEA Parties across the U.S.

You know the media is not going to cover these events like they should, or they'll spin the reports to suit their agenda. We pledge to get the truth out and to help inform, inspire and empower Americans from coast to coast to stand up, speak out, and take our country back!

You can read about it here: The Voice magazine is Seeking Citizen Journalists for TEA Party Coverage.

Please let us know if you're willing to report on the event in your city, and spread the word to others you know who are attending TEA Parties.

For the future of our country,

Melanie Madon
Managing Editor | THE VOICE
The Voice Magazine (e-mail).
Please think about it. It is a great thing to do for our cause.

A side note. PJTV is also looking for Citizen Journalists. They would like pictures, videos, reports, whatever details we can offer them. The link to sign-up to be Citizen Reporter at PJTV (new media TV) is right here to register. This is very fne organization. I do watch it often. Have a great Independence Day!

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Long Beach Tea Party Infomercial

This wonderful man has made an infomericial for our Tea Party on the 4th of July. He makes phamphlets, business cards, and signs at Bring Home The Politicians. His name is Michael Norbury, and he is very gracious. I hope all my bothers and sisters of every background will take the time to stop by and perhaps stay a while. There is going to be so much, and I enjoy people so much. Here is the infomercial:

Great job! Thank you so much, Michael.

He has a petition that needs to be signed concerning something near and dear to my heart. Bring Home The Politicians! It's very interesting. Read it before you sign it. That's my standard adivce to everyone concerning everything you sign. Then I know you'll want to sign it.

He will also have available bumper stickers, t-shirts and the like at a later date, so keep going back to this site to find out when. We might want to buy some memoirs while we still can. After all, have you noticed how slow he reacted to the slaughter of peaceful civilians in Iran by their goverment and how quickly he denounced the Supreme Court of Honduras for holding to their democratic constitution? Need I say more?

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Walls Closing In - Arghh!

I'm so sorry. I know I haven't been faithfully writing, but I have been very busy reading, answering e-mails, trying to get this Tea Party together, scheduling, calling Congress, the Senate, the White House, and our state legistors. There simply isn't enough time a day to get all of this done! I just wanted to give you a shout out to let you know you are not forgotten. I appreciate all of my readers. If you could just hang on for a day or two longer, I'll be back to writing. (It may take until after the 4th of July.)

Of course I do get the urge from out of the blue to write, so there may be something for you to read anyway. I will write about my progress. Oh, that reminds me. I have two musicians who've sent me their sounds and let me tell you, they are good. Very good. I'm going to be writing a post about them but until then, here are their websites: TheEagleAndTheLady by Allen Orchowski and Backbone Music USA - We Love Our Country! (the Spirit Driven Band). I hope you enjoy them! They want all Tea Party organizers to use them FREE at our Tea Party's. Give people their websites. Help them to get known. Please. Thank you.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Iranians To Regime: BEAT IT!

First I would like pass along my condolences for the families of Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson. May your loved one rest in peace, and may you find peace at this time of grief.

Now to Iran. I found this marvelous video over at Blackfive's (Uncle Jimbo posted it), and I just had to 'borrow' it. After all, he 'borrowed' it from Gateway Pundit who 'borrowed' it from...well, you get the idea.

This a video where someone has dubbed the song Beat It over the actual events. It is a collage put together by mydorood. These Iranians sure are creative. Check out what they've done.

BEAT IT YOU FANATICS!!! GET OUT OF MY LAND!

If for some reason you have any trouble with the embeded video, here is the link.

Feel free to share this video with all your Iranian friends as a sign of solidarity. Pray for the day when that regime actually does beat it so they may live free. God bless.

Source(s): Blackfive and Gateway Pundit.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Dissidents Turn To Israel For Help

It appears as if President Obama does not really care about womens' rights, freedom, Liberty, the 1st or 2nd (or any) Amendments, so Iranian dissidents have turned their eyes toward an unexpected neighbor. Israel. Here is an excerpt:

Iranian Dissident: Dear Israeli Brothers and Sisters - Help Us!
by Nissan Ratzlav-Katz

"Dear Israeli Brothers and Sisters," writes Iranian dissident Arash Irandoost, "Iran needs your help more than ever now. And we will be eternally grateful. Please help opposition television and radio stations which are blocked and being jammed by the Islamic Republic (Nokia and Siemens) resume broadcast to Iran. There is a total media blackout and Iranians inside Iran for the most part are not aware of their brave brothers and sisters fighting and losing their lives daily. And the unjust treatment and brutal massacre of the brave Iranians in the hands of the mullah's paid terrorist Hamas and Hizbullah gangs are not seen by the majority of the Iranians. Please help in any way you can to allow these stations resume broadcasting to Iran.

"And, please remember that we will remember, as you have remembered Cyrus the Great's treatment of you in your time of need," Irandoost concludes, signing his blogged call for help "Your Iranian Brothers and Sisters!" [Please read the whole article at Israel News.]
What is happening is atrocious, and the world remains silent. Is this how Hitler rose to power? I thought we swore, "Never again!"? Shall we sit here, comfortably, getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July? What does the 4th of July really mean to you if you can sit by and say nothing?

These are our brothers and sisters. Especially if you are a Christian. What can we do, you ask yourself or me? We can burn the phone lines down calling President Obama (1-202-456-1111) and let him know what you think of his silence! You can call your representatives (1-202-224-3121 or 225-3121, they both work) and encourage them to speak out for the dissidents in Iran. We can also encourage them to put the money back into the fund set up by the Republicans and some Democrats for the Iranian dissidents. We can help them with news through TV stations that the mullahs won't have the time to block, at least not all of them! We can also use the radio. Whatever ideas you have, share them.

Where are all the Muslims who rallied when you thought it possible that any type of book could be flushed down a toilet let alone a Koran? WHERE IS YOUR VOICE? Do you not see the horror? Or do you approve of it? How about it CAIR? Yes, I guess we know where you stand.

Let me tell you something, though. There were people protesting all across this nation. I did notice you. There were probably more of you than any TV station is about to admit, which leads me to question whether or not we truly do have a free press or just a lazy one? From New York City to California. From sea to shining sea. Yes, injustice was proclaimed by the PEOPLE, not by these so-called groups that claim to represent you. Please remember this the next time they start squaking. It's probably for their masters. Do you really want to please those dictators? I didn't think so.

Everyone stay safe, keep praying, keep protesting, and come to my Tea Party on the 4th of July at Bixby Park, 130 Cherry Ave, Long Beach, California. We shall be having a moment of silence, and I will be wearing a green t-shirts. I will have green ribbons for you as well. You don't have to wear one. It's up to you. What is right is right, and it doesn't matter that it's not happening here. The truth is, it most certainly could. We must all be grateful. Have a nice day.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Tea Party: When & Where

For those who e-mail me:

It's so nice to hear from you. I've written a post of sorts so I don't forget anything while I let you know what we have planned so far. After all the speakers (so far there is Dianne Lenning and myself) are finished speaking, I would like to hand the bullhorn over to the people who've shown up. Give everyone 5 minutes to speak whatever is on their mind. If you have any ideas that you don't see here, please feel free to share them with me. Until then, take care and may God bless your family and you.
This is for the Iranian people, not any of the leaders. Only those who choose peace and regime change. I pray for all to change their minds away from violence and toward peace. The Tea Party is going to be held inside Bixby Park this time. I've been giving the address 130 Cherry Ave, but we are going to actually be inside the park. Do you know where the bandshell is? It's sort of a stage over by Junipero Street. You should able to recognize us. My brother is also going to have signs up with arrows. Wheh!

It starts at 12 noon. If you could bring some chairs (folding, lawn, etc.), that would be great. That is, if you want to sit. It does last until 3 pm or so. I have 1 speaker (besides myself) confirmed, Candidate for School Superintendent Diane Lenning, and I was hoping everyone (or most of us) would like to have an opportunity to say a few words. After all, it is our Freedom Day! Independence. What a beautiful thing. Now if we could only get it back...

Here is the basic information I have up all over the place:

9 Principles 12 Values Unite or Die!When: Noon-3pm, Saturday, July 4th.
Where: Bixby Park, 130 Cherry Ave, Long Beach, CA. Then we'll move over to the stage hub around 11:50am.
Map: Click here.

Contact: E-mail Rosemary.

Website: Rosemary's Thoughts.

Live Free or Die Trying!

There will be music, the playing of the Star Spangled Banner, a reading of the Declaration of Independence with some additions, balloons (maybe you could blow up some red, white and blue balloons?), and bring a flag or two. If you would like a $2 Taxed Enough Already (TEA) button, let me know. I have ordered 50 of them. If there are going to be people that want one, I will have to order more.

We are still need of cameras and videos. Please bring them, even if you think someone else is going to. We could use all the pictures and tapings we can get. The last time, I was asked to write an article, and it was published! Oh, please don't forget to sign in. This way, I will know how many people actually attended. It was very difficult last time, because I received many different estimates. Please write legibly. Some of you have atrociout penmanship. LOL.

It is not required for you to leave your email address or phone number but if you do, I'd really want to put it with the rest of the Tea Party participants. This way I can thank you for attending and keep in touch until the next one on September 12, 2009. Hey, I cannot make it to Washington, but that doesn't mean we can't party! ;)

Feel free to come up with some of your own ideas. We are also protesting our state's gov't in Sacramento! They're talking about raising taxes again after they raised taxes, then tried to fool us into raises taxes on ourselves but was vehemently trounced, and now they want to raise taxes agains? PEOPLE ARE RUNNING OUT OF THIS STATE! We have to let them know this cannot, will not, stand.

We are looking forward to seeing you. Until then, keep your chin up, stiff upper lip, and have a wonderful day.

Sincerely,

Rosemary

PS. This is a good Conservative social network that I belong to: Smart Girl Politics where I have posted this event: America's Freedom-Long Beach Tea Party. God bless everyone!

Sad

There are two cartoons today that capture the mood of many. For those of you who've been somewhere in the woods for the past week or so, President Obama has released those Chinese terrorists from Gitmo to go to Bermuda on our dime. Yup. They're living the life of luxury that 2996 of our fellow citizens never had the opportunity to do because these scumbags murdered them on September 11, 2001. Even if it wasn't them personally, they're with the monsters who did. Here are the cartoons. They speak for themselves.

Hat tip: Michael Ramirez and nbradfield.

This next cartoon is an oldie but relevant.

Hat tip: Chris (from Day by Day).

If you cannot read the writings, please click on the picture. I've added their links for you. Have a nice day. I'm sure it will be nicer than the one they're having in Iran, but then again, they're fighting for freedom and Liberty. What are you fighting for again? Sad.

Update: I have a commenter who thinks I either forgot to do the research or didn't care to the research. Well, I did not realize I had to research cartoons! Well, here we go.
The detainees were captured in Afghanistan and Pakistan in 2001, but the Pentagon determined last year that they were not "enemy combatants." [Continue reading the Washington Post.]
I remember this case, if that matters. These are not men who were not innocent. The tribunals, which were unconstitutionally halted by the courts, could not hear this hear this case. After being captured since 2001 (ring a bell anyone?), they were determined not to be a threat anymore.

These are Chinese Muslims. What were they doing in Afghanistan? Why were they fighting against us if not to be part of al Qaida? There are several scumbags we've released that return right back to the battlefield. I am of the mind that I would rather be on the side of caution. If someone else would prefer to be on the side of letting them all go so we can hit again, they have a right to that opinion. Just don't live next door to me! There's your update.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Tehran Today 6/21/09

This is a link to a video of what is happening in Tehran today. It is not as graphic as some others I've heard about. I can only say that because I cannot bear to watch them.

Here are some articles:

پخش زنده برنامه های تلويزيونی فائزه هاشمی آزاد شد "ده کشته" و "یکصد زخمی" در درگیری های دیروز تهران چه کسانی پس از اعلام نتایج انتخابات بازداشت شده اند؟ درخواست موسوی از مردم حین درگیری های تهران
Oh my. You don't read Farsi, do you? How about this? Try the Google Translator. Remember to copy the text you want to translate, then click on Google translator.

If you would like to add this to your blog, here is the code: /* ---( )--- */ (Put the HTML back together first.) I can't get it work for me so if you can, please let me know how you did it. ;)

Here is the link to the article and video from BBC news. I like the way the protesters back down the monsters who are doing the killing. Animals.

UPDATE: This just in from Winston. The title of this is "Iran Street Clashes Despite 'Several Deaths'", but I call it "Afraid No More!" (Video by MiddleEastNews. from SkyNews tv.)

If there is a problem with this video, please watch this over at YouTube. ('Bout time they stopped censoring, eh?)

Do you think maybe they've been watching too many American news reports? Agh. So what! They have had it with their oppressors, and I'm glad. Let us pray for their safety, success, freedom, Liberty, and sense of responsibility. Let them truly enter the community of the world with peace. Amen.

PS. If you disagree, I don't care. I understand the risks. What if someone worse comes along, right? I do not believe they will stand for it. Not after being oppressed for 30 years. Ask the Iraqis.

PSS. I do care. What I meant by what I said is that I've been following Iran for many years now, and I've also been praying for them. Are you aware there are over one million Christians in Iran and several Jews? Yes. This is a fact. So do I care about the Muslims? Not the ones who are doing all the murdering but yes, I do. God did not make just some of us. When He sent His Son to earth as our Saviour, He sent Him for everyone. Not just you and me. We should all care. That's all.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Pres. Reagan Warns Against 'Govt Health Care'

I am always moved when I hear his voice, probably because he speaks rationally, passionately, informatively, and plainly. Where have all the wise men gone? Congress chases them away! No good men or women want to go through the junk it takes to run for office let alone serve.

That being said, I want you to listen to this video. As you listen, really listen. Then I want you to ask yourself, "Do I have what it takes to be a good servant of the people?" Make up your mind soon, because time is running out. We need good men and women to throw these bums out!

If for some reason the video is not working properly, here is the YouTube link.

Hat tip: Adam's Blog from Twitter. Have a nice day.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Iran: EU Listens, Why Won't Obama?

This is a moving video, that is, if you have a heart, if you cherish Liberty, if you demand freedom and justice, if you hate tyrants. I guess I answered my own question. *sigh*

Hat tip: A friend from TweetChat. If the video link doesn't work, go to YouTube and watch it there.

Do not use names on #iranelection, and change your profile before going to TweetChat. Also, change your Avitar to the color green. If you know how to do this, PLZ let me know so I can do that as well. *blush*

I have a question I would like you to ponder. Why is it that Europe, the last people to recognize evil when it's right in front of their faces, has the tenacity and fortitude to invite Marjan Satrapi and Mohsen Makhmalbef in front of their parliament while our president is determined "not to take sides"? Have we all gone mad?

For the sake of clarity, I stand with the Iranian people and against the Iranian regime. Nuf said. Please send up some prayers for our brothers and sisters in Iran. If we all stand together, we can bring down this regime, bring freedom, dignity, Liberty, human rights and justice to the Iranian people without ever firing a shot. Would that be the sweetest victory of all? Have a nice evening.

Don't forget to check out the latest on Winston's site and his Twitter. Very good reporting and updated frequently. (Yes, I've been busy trying to read his posts, Twitter, TweetChat, e-mails, fixing my computer, and getting ready for the July 4th Tea Party. If you have sent me a question or an e-mail, please be patient. I have not forgotten you.)

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

War For Peace Inside Iran?

Background: The last sham election was boycotted by many people, so there was a low turnout. Possibly 20%, but I do not remember. Since Ahmadinejad 'won', the people of Iran have suffered greatly, especially the young and the women. He has strictly enforced Sharia law, no women can leave the house without their head covered, no alcohol, no music, no dancing, no affection in public ie. holding hands etc, no disrespect (speaking the truth about Ahmadinejad) about Ahmadinejad or the 'Supreme Leader', and many more rules. Also, many people in Iran believe (know) the only vote that counts, yes it is only one, is that of 'Supreme Leader' Khomenei. All other votes do not count, so elections in Iran are not as we know them here. They are a sham to appease the appeasable.

That being said, Ahmadinejad did not win this election. Do I have the facts, the ballots? No, I do not. Have I seen the documentation? No, I haven't. So how can I make such a statement? I am an American and we have a little thing called "FREE SPEECH" which, unfortunately, many people take for granted. They do not understand how rare God-given rights are. This way, governments cannot take these rights away, because they are not the ones from whence they came.

Back to the point. It was reported that 70%+ of the people showed up to vote on June 12, 2009. Would that many people show up to vote for someone they do not like? Would they show up for the same-old same-old, or would they show up for change? That is why I believe Moussavi won. When you refer to the first paragraph, would you vote for that? Neither would many Iranians, although some would I imagine. The mullahs (think of union bosses) and the intimidated.

There is an Iranian blogger who I follow, and he has written much about this. There are now riots in the streets, 20,000 people at last estimate, and the phone services have been cut off to the outside world. Please read these two articles of his: Infighting and Clashing. You may also follow him at Twitter: Winston80. That is what I will be doing shortly.

After you read those two articles, you may understand why I titled this post, 'war for peace inside Iran?'. The police (militias) have orders to shoot to kill the protesters. DO YOU NOW BELIEVE YOU ARE LUCKY AS ALL GET-OUT TO LIVE HERE? Can you imagine if President Bush gave those orders? I would have changed sides in an instant flat. No kidding. Government didn't give us the right to free speech, God did. Anyway, let me back off this rant.

Iranians protesting against election results 2009 - Part 02
by PasargadNewsAgency, June 13, 2009.

Hat tip: Winston. [The script in this video is giving me some trouble, so here is the link at YouTube so you can see it.]

I am very worried for the Iranian people right now. They are in grave danger. If you are a believing person (in God), please send up your prayers for these protesters and Iran along with me. There are many Christians in Iran, and they are our brothers and sisters in Christ. There are also Jewish people in Iran who are suffering very much. There are even people in Iran who do not believe in anything at all because of what they see. How can they believe when all they see is evil, desperation, hunger, etc? Pray for them as well to know God. Many organizations are sending Bibles and praying with them and for them. Thank you.

PS. Winston has written another post while I was writing this one. The title of it is Iran on Fire. Then Michael Ledeen: The Iranian Circus III and MSNBC are also covering this now. (Michael has been covering this for decades.)

The chanting you hear in that video above is the Iranian people saying, "Death to the Dictator!" [Update: Today, the 14, they are chanting 'We Want Freedom' as well!] They are even fighting with the police to get their friends back from their custody. This time, the air is different. The people are no longer afraid of the police, and the IRG and other militias have not shown up so far. Could this be the beginning of the end of the cruelty Iran has suffered by its own politicians? Time will tell, my dear friends. Let us pray.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Obama's Fantasy v Free Market Reality

Many of you, such as myself, argued that President Bush and President Obama should not pass the TARP and stimulus bills, but they did it anyway. At the time, only 5% of the people were in foreclosure. The lesson that should have been learned from that situation is, "If you can't afford something, don't buy it". But oh no.

The people that knew there was a bubble burst coming and waited patiently on the sidelines got screwed, because the gov't just had to come in and save everyone...er...5% of the people who could not afford their houses to begin with and were foreclosed on anyway because they could not afford their houses. Duh.

Many people assume it was the 'greed' of Wall Street (when did they start selling houses?) and the loaning agencies. Well, in a manner of speaking they did have something to do with it, but why? Could it be that if we looked even closer we might find that the govt (yes, there they go again) FORCED banks to make loans they would not have made otherwise?

I know. They were going to give me a house and I don't have a job. I told them NO!

I saved my pennies, I bought store brand food, I bought second-hand clothes if I bought any at all, and this was all for the purpose of saving enough money to put a big down payment on a house. My house. My home. My American Dream.

You will never know the language that came out of my mouth toward President Bush and President Obama over this. My dreams are crushed because I played by the rules. What kind of a lesson is this? What is the message you're sending?

YOU ARE SENDING THE WRONG MESSAGE, IDIOTS.

Which brings me to this tape I came across over at Stop the ACLU. It explains this fantasy land President Obama is living in, and why it is so disastrous. I pray he wakes up soon before we are broke. Here is the tape.

America's Freedom-Long Beach Tea Party

I am having difficulty getting this message out, so I thought this would be a great place to do so. This is in California. There will be a couple of speakers, and I hope you will contact me to let me know you are coming. We'd love to see ya here.

If you happen to know anyone in a neighboring area or in Long Beach, California, please encourage them to share their Independence Day with us at our Tea Party. While we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence (which was actually on the 5th), we can reclaim our independence from this tyrannical government.

It doesn't matter to them anyway, no matter which party claims you, just as long as we show up on election day. Let's show them they are wrong. Let us proclaim it it loud and clear. They'd better start listening to us now or else.

Or else what? We'll put up our own candidates, that's what! Hit them where it will hurt them. Job insecurity. Over at Smart Girl Politics we are working on this very thing. They want our money? We want their jobs. Are you ready to join forces with us? Join this movement that is sweeping this great country. Join us. Remember, Live Free or Die!

PS. May I recommend a site for you to check out if you do not live in this area and even if you do? The name of it is TeaPartyPatriots, and many of the people from the TaxDayTeaParty are over there now. Just thought you might like to know. Have a great day.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.
